Is there pre-admission testing?Tests are performed several days prior to the day of your surgery. Your physician and the support staff at Phoenix Medical Centre will instruct you regarding the date and time for pretesting to be done.

Are there pre-admission requirements?Please remove all nail polish. Please remove all makeup. Please do not bring any valuables or jewelry with you. Please bathe or shower the night before or the morning of your surgery. Please refrain from smoking on the day of your surgery. Please refrain from the consumption of alcoholic beverages.

What happens on the day of your procedure?On the day that your procedure is scheduled, you go directly to Phoenix Medical Centre. An anesthesiologist will interview you before surgery if you are having general, spinal or monitored anesthesia (twilight sedation). You will discuss questions regarding your anesthesia experience and use of medications and drugs.

What is the cost of a procedure?Prices varies depending if you are using medical insurance or paying out-of-pocket.

Do you perform surgery on Saturdays?Sure we do! A Saturday surgical procedures are soley provided by request and is based on availibility. Make contact with our office to schedule a Saturday Surgical Procedure.

How quickly can a procedure be confirmed?There are a number of required protocols and steps that must be taken before your procedure is confirmed such as precertifications etc... Once completed your procedure is scheduled the following day.

What specializations do your doctor(s) carry?There is a General Surgeon, specialized in gastroenterology and laparoscopic procedures.
